Pipa is an eight year old Lab female with a loving, docile temperament. We are seeking a family for her to provide individual attention and care in her retirement. See below for more details. Pipa is a lovely, affectionate, and gentle girl, on whom we'd like a special family to lavish individual devotion and care. She came to us two years ago from another kennel that was downsizing, and while we love her very much and appreciate the excellent genes that she brought to our program, she deserves now to be the center of attention and not just one of a big family. At eight years, she is in excellent health and runs about the yard playing with all the others, but she is also a mature adult, as prone to lying around, as she is activity. She has been on monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and requires no special dietary protocol, although we like to give her salmon oil and brewers yeast to keep her coat nice. She eats three cups a day of quality kibble. While Pipa behaves in the house, she has not lived her life as a house dog, so we would recommend crating at night initially until she got used to the routine of living indoors or an outside kennel area for when you were away. She is intelligent as Labs are, and will learn quickly your expectations for her. If you are interested in providing Pipa with a loving home, please email us at LoblollyLabradors@gmail.com.

Eve FarrellMy family got our first Labrador when I was eight. I wanted a cat. Despite my initial reluctance and deep desire for a feline, our first Labs-- Spike & Princess-- brought great happiness into our household and marked the beginning of my lifelong love for Labradors. Eventually I got my cat, but with 35 years of experience with this breed, I am grateful for the beauty and joy of my family's Labrador heritage, and thus, I dedicate this page to the very first ones of my childhood.
