Who We Are

Loblolly Labradors represents over 40 years of breeding experience through the joint efforts of Jim Shreffler of Stempamgar Labradors, Sandy Shreffler of Windancing Labradors, and Eve & Christopher Farrell of the Tennessee wing of the family. These breeding programs reflect passion for the hallmarks of Labradors, i.e., intelligence, affability, and function, and dedication to maintaining their structural integrity and beauty. When Jim and Sandy, respectively, began winnowing their breeding programs, we, Chris & Eve, adopted the lines. Which is to say, we inherited a lovely lot of beautifully made and pedigreed Labrador Retrievers who express the desirable features of this classic breed:  good health, even temperament, attentive cognition, and beautiful conformation. 
In honor of the Shreffler family's notable stewardship of this breed and these magical creatures, we continue our dedication to breed integrity and ethical care in the countryside of Middle Tennessee. BREED STANDARDS

• We commit to breeding Labradors which are sound and representative of the parent club breed standard.​ The classical features of Labrador are a function of the merit and idea of the breed, thus we believe that ideal should be honored and pursued. 

HEALTH SCREENING

•  We foster the health and soundness of our dogs by pledging love, attention, good food, and all necessary medical care to everyone of our animal friends. 
• We practice responsible health, orthopedic, and genetic screening for our breeding program.

ADOPTION

• We strive to match adopting parties and dogs according to temperament and function. 
• We offer ongoing education and support to our buyers to ensure that they and their dogs have the best experience possible. ​
